Frequently asked questions

Can I really organise unlimited events with unlimited attendees?

Absolutely. Providing the events are organised by and for the sole benefit of your company (or an individual client) you can use AttendZen to run as many different events for as many individual attendees as you like during your subscription. The only extras we charge for (besides custom development work) are if you want to use our built-in streaming for your virtual content. We charge for streaming on per-use basis (ie the number of minutes and the number of views). These charges are clearly set out in your service agreement and are billed on a monthly basis as incurred. You are of course free to use you own preferred streaming service (Vimeo, YouTube etc). Otherwise, you can use all the features in your chosen plan for as many events as you can cram into a year. Pretty good huh?

Do you charge a set-up fee for each new event?

Nooooooooooo! You’re free to set-up as many different events as you want for your company. Large or small. Virtual, in-person or hybrid. Paid or free. There are no set-up charges providing you bring in your own content and build out your events yourself (which is pretty easy to do using our intuitive platform).

Do you charge any commission or fees based on my registration revenue?

Absolutely not. We only charge an annual fee to use the platform. Your registration revenue is your own. The only commission or fees you would pay are to your Payment Service Provider (for the processing of your credit card transactions).

Will you set everything up and build my website for me?

Everything on the AttendZen platform can be achieved without expert designers or developers. But if you’re pushed for time and you want our expert services team to build everything for you, we can. Of course we charge extra for that. Your account manager can discuss your exact needs and give you a price.

How long are your contracts? Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

Our standard subscription period is one year. You can upgrade your subscription at any time during the first six months of your subscription period (you’ll be charged a pro-rata portion of the differential between the plan you’re on and the plan you’re upgrading to. You can’t downgrade your subscription, however.

How does the free trial work?

When you sign up for your trial with AttendZen, you’ll have access to all features available in our Enterprise plan for ten days. If you wish to trial a specific plan, just contact us. At any point during the trial you can choose a plan and pay by credit card or by invoice.

What resources are available to make sure I’m getting the most out of AttendZen?

We provide you with initial training when we set up your account. Support is available by phone and email whenever you need it. And we have our knowledgebase with over 500 articles explaining how to do everything on the platform, as well as blog posts, webinars and other useful stuff.

Does AttendZen integrate with other applications and systems?

Yes. You can connect AttendZen to most popular cloud-based CRMs, accounting packages, marketing technology applications and other services via Zapier to share and update data and trigger events. If you’re an enterprise customer and you need something more bespoke, we’ll work with you to realise a custom integration with your chosen app.

How do you protect my data?

AttendZen is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our information systems and our customers’ personal data. We operate a security programme that includes threat detection, vulnerability scanning, DDoS mitigation, and access controls. Communication is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher over public networks. Data is encrypted at rest with industry standard AES-256 encryption. All employees are required to sign Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality agreements. We evaluate and perform due diligence on all our vendors prior to engagement to ensure their security is to a suitable standard. If they do not meet our requirements, we do not move forward with them. Selected vendors are then monitored and reassessed on an ongoing basis.
